Shooting Results In Double Homicide

Los Angeles: On Friday, March 14, 2003, at approximately 2:40 p.m., a group of young men were standing in front of the apartment building at 10412 South Figueroa Street. An unknown suspect approached the group, and without warning, began firing a handgun towards the men.
Three people were struck by the gunfire. The suspect fled the location in an unknown direction. All three victims were transported to a local area hospital. Two of the victims failed to respond to emergency treatment and were pronounced dead at the hospital. The third victim is listed in stable condition as a result of his gunshot wound.
Names of the deceased are being withheld pending notification to the next of kin. Both men are Black males in their thirties.
