North Hollywood: The family and friends of Shogo Wakamatsu and the Los Angeles Police Department’s Foothill Area are asking for the public’s help in locating him.
On October 15, 2025, around 11:30 p.m., Mr. Wakamatsu was last seen leaving his home in the 12600 block of Willard Street in North Hollywood. He hasn’t been seen or heard from since. Mr. Wakamatsu possibly suffers from undiagnosed dementia, is unsteady on his feet, and speaks primarily Japanese.
Mr. Wakamatsu has gray hair and brown eyes. He stands four feet seven inches tall and weighs approximately 90 pounds. He was last seen wearing a purple sweatshirt, blue sweatpants, black socks, and no shoes.
