Silver Alert Issued for a Missing 88-Year-Old Man NR26199al

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department’s West Valley area and the family of Angel Duron Leija are asking for the public’s help in locating him.

On September 28, 2026, around 6:20 p.m., Mr. Leija was last seen at Encino Hospital, walking eastbound on Ventura Boulevard towards Woodley Avenue on the north sidewalk. He hasn’t been seen or heard from since. Mr. Leija suffers from dementia, and his family is concerned for his safety.

Mr. Leija has grey hair and brown eyes. He stands five feet seven inches tall, weighs approximately 150 pounds, and has facial hair. He was last seen wearing a gray and white checkered flannel, gray pants, and dark shoes.
