Silver Alert Issued for Missing 73-Year-Old Man NR26187ag

Los Angeles: The family and friends of Vertis Walker, along with the Los Angeles Police Department, are seeking the public’s help in locating him.

On September 9, 2026, around 8:00 p.m., 73-year-old Vertis Walker was last seen near the 7000 block of Van Nuys Boulevard. Mr. Walker suffers from schizophrenia and cognitive impairment.

Mr. Walker is described as a male Black with brown hair and brown eyes. He stands approximately 5 feet tall and 9 inches and weighs around 190 pounds. Mr. Walker has a full beard and mustache. He was last wearing a light blue track suit and white shirt.
