Sleight of Hands Thief Steals Rings NR18184ti

On July 23, 2018, 25-year-old
Yuri Cho was arrested for Grand Theft. The property taken has been
recovered and returned to the victim.

Studio City: The Los Angeles Police Department is
seeking the public’s help in identifying the person responsible for
Grand Theft.

On June 20, 2018, around 4 p.m., Los Angeles police officers
responded to a radio call of a theft investigation near the 12100
block of Ventura Boulevard.

Investigation revealed the suspect entered the business to have a
manicure and pedicure. As she was receiving the treatments, she
discovered the victim’s wedding and engagement ring on the side
tray. The suspect took the ring, concealed it in her hand, and
placed the ring in her purse. The suspect paid for her treatment
and left the location with victim’s property.

The suspect is described as a female Asian in his mid-20s, with
black hair and brown eyes. She stands around five feet 5 inches
tall and weighing around 120 pounds. She was wearing a black
dress with flower design and brown wedge heels.
