Sobriety Checkpoint Notification

"SOBRIETY CHECKPOINT NOTIFICATION"
 

Los Angeles – On Sunday, February 18, 2001, the Los Angeles Police Department’s South Traffic Division will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint between 3:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. The checkpoint will be established on Crenshaw Boulevard between Martin Luther King Boulevard and Coliseum Place. The purpose of the sobriety checkpoint is to identify unlicensed drivers and/or drivers operating vehicles while under the influence. Officers will attempt to heighten public awareness, and at the same time enforce the law.
