Tuesday, February 2, 1999
On Monday evening, February 1, 1999, at approximately 5:40 P.M., the victim Ernesto Sosa, a male Hispanic, 26 years old was in front of 11400 Block of Evers Avenue, Los Angeles. A verbal argument ensued between Suspect and Sosa, which escalated into a shooting. During the shooting Sosa sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his upper torso. Sosa was transported to Martin Luther King Jr. Hospital. On Tuesday morning, February 2, 1999, at 0357 hours, Sosa succumbed to his wounds.

The suspect(s) and weapon remain outstanding. The motive is unknown
