WHY:
The Los Angeles Police Department Operations-South Bureau is proud to present the 3rd Annual Safe Summer Initiative — a community-driven event dedicated to connecting youth, young adults, and families with organizations offering summer programs, internships, employment opportunities, mentorship, recreational activities, and educational enrichment resources.
This highly anticipated event reflects Operations-South Bureau’s ongoing commitment to violence prevention through positive engagement, community partnership, and meaningful opportunities for young people throughout South Los Angeles. By bringing together law enforcement, community organizations, educators, and local leaders, the Safe Summer Initiative aims to provide safe, healthy, and productive pathways for youth during the summer months.
Together, we can strengthen our neighborhoods, empower our youth, and build a safer future for our families and communities — one rooted in opportunity, collaboration, and hope.
