WHAT: South Traffic Division Community Police Station Coat Giveaway

WHERE:107TH Street Elementary School 147 East 107th Street Los Angeles, CA 90003

WHO:LAPD Deputy Chief William Scott, Commanding Officer, Operation South Bureau LAPD Captain David Kawolski, Commanding Officer, South Traffic Division.

WHY: Motor Officer, Jerome Divinity, annually purchases approximately 500 new winter coats for underprivileged students selected at elementary schools in the City of Los Angeles. The selected students are greeted by police officers and personally given their coats at this event.This simple act will make a positive impact on families, officers and most important, kids in our community.
