“I am deeply saddened by the tragic loss of life that occurred this morning at the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Training Center. On behalf of the entire Los Angeles Police Department, I want to offer our heartfelt condolences to the families, friends, and colleagues of the fallen deputies.

The LAPD Bomb Squad, SWAT, and K-9 teams are actively responding to calls for service on behalf of our Sheriff’s Department partners so they can focus fully on supporting their personnel and conducting this critical investigation.

We stand in solidarity with our Sheriff’s Department colleagues during this incredibly difficult time and we remain ready to assist in any way we can.”
