WHY:
On August 14, 2022, a large group of individuals participating in a street takeover entered, looted, and vandalized a 7-Eleven convenience store located on the northwest corner of Figueroa Street and El Segundo Boulevard in the City of Los Angeles. The suspects ransacked the store destroying and taking several items without paying. The suspects are facing multiple charges to include grand theft, looting, and vandalism. We are seeking the public’s help in identifying persons observed on video committing these acts.

Detectives are also announcing a $50,000.00 reward for any information leading to the identity, arrest and conviction of the person responsible for a fatal hit-and-run traffic collision that killed a person experiencing homelessness on the evening of August 9, 2022, around 9:30 p.m. near Broadway and 85th Street.

VISUALS:
Detectives will be releasing interior surveillance footage showing suspects ransack the 7-Eleven, and video and images of a suspect’s vehicle that was involved in a fatal hit-and-run traffic collision.
