Suspect Arrested for Homicide in Sun Valley NR22373dm

Sun Valley: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Operations Valley Bureau Homicide detectives are investigating a murder in the Foothill Area.

On December 10, 2022, around 1:00 a.m., Foothill Area officers responded to a radio call of shots fired at an underground parking lot apartment complex in the 8600 block of Sunland Boulevard. Upon arrival, the officers observed a male victim laying on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and pronounced the victim dead at scene.

The victim’s name is being withheld pending notification to next of kin. West Hills resident Deshawn Wallace, 29-years-old, was arrested and booked for 187(a)PC – Murder, (Booking #6516196).
