Suspect Arrested in West Los Angeles Homicide Investigation NR25184ti

Studio City: Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s West Bureau Homicide announce the arrest of the suspect wanted for Murder.

On September 12, 2025, around 6:13 a.m., Los Angeles Police Department West Los Angeles Area patrol officers responded to a radio call to meet with Los Angeles Fire Department personnel in the 10300 block of Bellwood Avenue. LAFD had responded to an apartment fire.

Inside the apartment, LAFD located a female who had suffered burns from the fire. LAFD also observed injuries consistent with stab wounds. The female was transported to a local hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.

Detectives from the West Bureau Homicide Unit responded and assumed investigative responsibility. A suspect was identified during the investigation. With the assistance of the FBI/LAPD Fugitive Task Force and the California Highway Patrol, the suspect was arrested in the City of Lebec, California at approximately 8:00 p.m. on September 12, 2025.

The suspect has been identified as Willian Santos, a 33-year-old male. Santos was booked for murder under booking number 7090666. His bail was set at $2,000,000. The case will be presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office for filing consideration.
