Suspect Sought in Burglary from Motor Vehicle NR11427rh

Los Angeles: LAPD West Los Angeles Division detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that will lead to the arrest of a suspect responsible for a burglary from a motor vehicle in the West L.A. Area.

On August 31, 2011, between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m., an unknown suspect entered a locked vehicle parked in the 10200 block of Santa Monica Boulevard near Century City Mall.  The suspect took a Ralph Lauren bag that contained several pieces of Ralph Lauren clothing.

On September 1, 2011, at around 2:40 p.m., an African-American male and an African- American female entered the Ralph Lauren store located in the 100 block of North Robertson Boulevard. The suspects entered the location with the victim’s stolen clothing bag and asked to have the clothing exchanged for different sizes.  

The Ralph Lauren store was equipped with a CCTV system that captured the suspects’ actions on video. The suspects are described as an African-American male and an African-American female.  

The male suspect is, 28 to 35 years of age. He stands about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 190 pounds. He was last seen wearing a Florida Marlins baseball cap, black sweater, white t-shirt and dark pants.  

The female suspect is, 25 to 35 years of age. She stands about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds. She was last seen wearing a tan vest and dark pants.
