Suspect Sought in Foothill Area Homicide NR25163cm

Foothill: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Operation Valley Bureau Homicide Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the suspect responsible for the homicide of a male.

On August 5, 2025, at 10:46 a.m., Foothill division patrol officers responded to a radio call of an Assault With a Deadly Weapon near the 11900 block of Foothill Boulevard. Upon arrival, officers located a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound.

The Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and transported the victim to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased. His name is being withheld pending notification to next of kin.

Officers determined the victim was standing outside of a recreational vehicle when the suspect emerged from a separate vehicle and approached the victim before shooting him and fleeing to the awaiting vehicle.

Homicide personnel from LAPD Operations Valley Bureau Homicide responded and assumed investigative responsibility for the case.

The suspect is only described as a male.
