Suspect Sought in Mission Homicide – NR22327ll

North Hills: Los Angeles Police Department Valley Bureau Homicide Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect involved in a shooting that left one man dead.

On Sunday, November 6, 2022, around 9:25 p.m., Mission Division patrol officers responded to the area of the 8400 block of Sepulveda Blvd. for a radio call of a shooting which had just occurred. When officers arrived, they were directed to the parking lot, where they discovered a male suffering from gunshot wounds.

Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics responded and pronounced the victim deceased at scene.

According to witnesses, the suspect approached the victim in the parking lot of the motel and fired at him multiple times before fleeing on foot toward Sepulveda Blvd. The suspect is described as a male Black, 24-years-old, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and tan pants.

The victim is described as a 35-year-old male Black. His name is being withheld pending notification to his family.
