September 22, 2015

Canoga Park: The Los Angeles Police Department and Topanga Area
Theft Detectives are asking for the public’s help in finding the
suspect who is responsible for the theft of a package. The San
Fernando Valley has experienced several package thefts this
year.
On August 21, 2015, around 12
p.m., the driver of a white Acura with a license plate of 5***721
drove into the driveway of a residence located on the 7600 block of
Gazette Avenue in Canoga Park. The passenger, exited the vehicle
and walked to the porch of a residence and took a package. He then
entered the vehicle and left in an unknown direction.

The passenger is described as a male white, 25-30 years old,
wearing a black baseball cap with “LA” on the front, a black
t-shirt with a white design of a tattoo machine and a skull, black
pants and shoes. The suspect also had numerous black and gray
tattoos on each arm.

There is no suspect description of the driver.

The detective’s investigation revealed the suspects follow all
major delivery service vehicles. They park and wait for the driver
to leave the package at the community member’s residence and then
walk or drive up to take the packages.
