Van Nuys: Further investigation revealed the suspect unlawfully entered the victim’s apartment and a physical altercation ensued, which resulted in the victim’s death.
No arrests have been made at this time.
Detectives have identified a possible suspect described as a 30-40-year-old Hispanic male, black hair, 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 9 inches, weighing between 180 to 200 pounds. He was wearing a dark colored jack, white shirt, and blue jeans.
Detectives are releasing the suspect’s photos to assist them in locating him.
Suspect Sought in Van Nuys Homicide
Van Nuys: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Operation Valley Bureau Homicide Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the suspect responsible for the homicide of a male.
On April 26, 2025, around 2:30 p.m., Van Nuys division patrol officers responded to a radio call of a welfare check in the 12600 block of Riverside Drive. Upon arrival, officers located a male victim inside his apartment deceased.
The Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and pronounced the victim deceased at scene. His name is being withheld pending notification to next of kin.
There is no suspect information.
