Suspect Wanted in Valley Area Double Homicide NR16015lp

Winnetka: The Los Angeles Police
Department Valley Bureau Homicide detectives are asking for the
public’s help in providing any information that would lead to the
arrest of Brian Anthony Gonzales suspected of killing a 22-year-old
woman and a 24-year-old man.

On Sunday, January 17, 2016, around 4:20 p.m., Topanga patrol
officers responded to a radio call of an “Assault with a Deadly
Weapon, Suspect there Now”, in the 7600 block of Oso Avenue in the
Winnetka area. When officers arrived they found both victims inside
the residence, unresponsive suffering from gunshot wounds.

The preliminary investigation has revealed that the female victim
called 911 and reported that her ex-boyfriend was at her residence
and was armed with a gun. Homicide detectives have subsequently
identified the female victim’s ex-boyfriend.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded and pronounced both
victims dead at the scene.

The victims’ identity is being withheld pending next of kin
notification.

The Valley Bureau Homicide Detectives are seeking 24-year-old Brian
Anthony Gonzales, a.k.a. “Brian Hammond”. Gonzales is described as
a Black male, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs
approximately 160 lbs.
