Suspects Arrested for Homicide in Woodland Hills NR17184aj

Los Angeles: Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Robbery-Homicide Division (RHD), Homicide Special Section, arrested 55-year-old Robert Louis Baker, a resident of Canoga Park, and 45-year-old Monica Sonia Sementilli, a Woodland Hills resident, for the murder of Fabio Sementilli.

On January 23, 2017, around 4:20 p.m., two male suspects were captured on video surveillance jogging towards the victim’s residence in the 5000 block of Queen Victoria Road in Woodland Hills. Soon thereafter, the victim was discovered stabbed to death on his back porch, and his Porsche 911 was stolen.

On June 14, 2017, Robert Baker and Monica Sementilli were arrested and booked for the murder of Fabio Sementilli. On June 16, 2017, the District Attorney’s office filed one count of Murder with Special Circumstances against Robert Baker and Monica Sementilli. They are both being held with No Bail, and will be arraigned this afternoon in Department 100 of the Van Nuys Branch, of the Los Angeles County Superior Court.

Detectives are seeking information that will help identify a third suspect, a male with a stocky build, 5’06-5’07, wearing a hooded sweatshirt.
