Suspects Sought in Liquor Store Robberies NR11207rh

Los Angeles:  Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) Olympic Division detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that will lead to the arrest of suspects responsible for Liquor Store Robberies in Olympic and Hollywood Areas.

On March 14, 2011, at around 11:25 p.m., three male African-American suspects entered a liquor store in the 4600 block of Beverly Boulevard in the city of Los Angeles.  Two of the three suspects wore ski masks, however, the third suspect did not wear a mask.  One suspect was armed with a stainless steel revolver.  The suspect pointed the handgun at the liquor store clerk and demanded money.  The suspects then jumped over the counter and removed money from cash register.  The business was equipped with a CCTV system, and the suspects were captured on video.  The suspects drove away in a dark color mid size sedan with a sunroof that was driven by a getaway car driver.

The same suspects are also believed to be responsible for additional robberies that occurred around the time of this robbery.

The suspects captured on video appeared to be African-American males in their early twenties, and their weapon was a stainless steel revolver.

The suspects are to be considered ARMED and DANGEROUS.
