Teacher Arrested for Possessing Child Sexual Abuse Material NR19197jl

Panorama City: On July 17, 2019. The Los Angeles Police Department’s Juvenile Division, Internet Crimes Against Children Unit, arrested 46-year-old Nain Edred Doporto, the video production and theatre director at Saint Genevieve High School in Panorama City. He was arrested on a felony warrant for possession of child sexual abuse material.

This investigation was initiated by a ‘Cyber Tipline’ report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Subsequent investigation revealed that Doporto was in possession of child sexual abuse material. The investigation was presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office and one count of California Penal Code 311.11(a) – felony possession of child sexual abuse material was filed.
