WHY:
The Los Angeles Police Department’s 77th Street Community Police Station is proud to present, The Healthy Room Project. This groundbreaking event brings together local law enforcement, non-profits, and community members, in a unified effort to create safe spaces for those in need. The Healthy Room Project is a trusted community policing initiative that creates safe positive spaces for at-risk children in vulnerable communities. To date, the initiative has changed the lives of over 300 kids with the partnership of over 700 police officers and 2,500 volunteers. The aim is to maintain this collaborative project going in the 77th Street community for the benefit of its vulnerable population.
