Three-Armed Robbery Suspects Arrested NR23216rc

Los Angeles: On July 25, 2023, around 5:15 p.m., Central area officers responded to a radio call of an “Armed Robbery in Progress”, on the 300 block of South Wall Street. The suspects parked their vehicle near a local business and entered the location with handguns and a shotgun. The suspects proceeded to the register and the back room of the business. The owner of the business saw what was happening via closed-circuit television and called 911. The suspects took U.S. Currency and miscellaneous items. The suspects also robbed customers inside the store and took U.S. Currency.

When the officers arrived, they saw the suspects exiting the business and fleeing on foot. The officers established a perimeter, located the suspects, and took them into custody. Three handguns along with the victims stolen property were recovered.

The suspects were identified as 41year-old Louis Peralta, 25-year-old Jacob Alarcon, and 44-year-old Damian Morales. Morales was injured when a private security guard used a taser on him prior to the officers taking him into custody. Morales was treated for his injuries at a local hospital and released for booking.

All three suspects were booked for 211 PC – Robbery. Peralta’s bail was set at 1,200,000.00 (Booking Number 6647565); Alarcon’s bail was set at $150,000.00 (Booking Number 6647547), and Morales’ bail was set at $1,200,000.00 (Booking Number 6648093). During the investigation, Peralta and Alarcon were identified as being involved in another armed robbery on June 12, 2023.
