Three Suspects Arrested for Murder in North Hollywood Shooting NR25212jl

North Hollywood: Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Robbery Homicide Division Valley Bureau Section arrested three suspects wanted for murder.

On October 16, 2025, around 12:30 p.m., Los Angeles Police Department North Hollywood Area patrol officers responded to a radio call of an “Ambulance Shooting” on the 7300 block of Lankershim Boulevard.

Upon arrival, officers located a male on the ground with a gunshot wound. Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded and rendered medical aid. The victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at scene.

The victim’s identity is currently being withheld until next of kin are notified. He is described as a 25-year-old Hispanic male.

Robbery Homicide Division Valley Bureau detectives responded and took over the investigation. A total of three suspects were identified and taken into custody.

All three suspects were booked for 187 PC -Murder. They have been identified as:
Angel Banuelos, a 31-year-old male, date of birth 03/31/1994, booking number 7110510;
Joshua Provencio, a 21-year-old male, date of birth 10/24/2003, booking number 7110520; and
Jonathan Cuellar, a 24-year-old male, date of birth 06/17/2001, booking number 7110526.
Bail for each suspect was set at $2,000,000.

The case will be submitted to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office for filing. Detectives are actively searching the area for surveillance footage and witnesses.
