Traffic Advisory for Presidential Visit

Los Angeles:  In an effort to assist the public in avoiding possible traffic congestion during the visit of the President of the United States, May 7 & 8, 2014, the following areas of the City should be avoided when possible to prevent travel delays for community members:

Wednesday May 7, 2014
The area around Motor Avenue and Pico Blvd. from 4:00 pm to 6:00 p.m.
The area around Pico Blvd. and Beverly Glenn Road from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The area around Santa Monica Blvd and Beverly Glenn from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The area around Sunset Blvd. and Beverly Glenn from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The area around Santa Monica Blvd. and Avenue of the Stars from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Thursday May 8, 2014
The area around Santa Monica Blvd. and Avenue of the Stars from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
    NOTE:  As a result of a hard closure along Santa Monica  Blvd. between Wilshire Blvd. and Avenue of the Stars, the following Bus Routes will be affected, riders should contact the MTA for alternate locations:
