Traffic Advisory for Presidential Visit NA19128ma

Los Angeles: To assist the public in avoiding possible traffic congestion during the visit of the President of the United States, September 17, 2019, the following area of Los Angeles should be avoided when possible to prevent travel delays for community members:

CLOSURES / RESTRICTIONS

Tuesday, September 17, 2019 Figueroa Street from 6th Street to 8th Street, Wilshire Boulevard from Flower Street to Beaudry Avenue, and 7th Street from Flower Street to Bixel Street will be closed beginning at 4:00 a.m. The above streets will remain closed till midday September 18, 2019.

MEDIA STAGING AND PARKING

The media staging location will be on the northeast corner of Wilshire Boulevard and Figueroa Street. Media parking will be on Flower Street between 7th Street and 8th Street. Please be advised, in anticipation of congestion on the surrounding roads, media is asked to park only in the designated area. Due to the serious impact on traffic, the Los Angeles Department of Transportation will be impounding vehicles illegally parked.
