"Two Home Invasion Suspects Captured – One or More Remains Outstanding"

West Los Angeles – On September 30, 2000, at approximately 10:00 p.m., a residential robbery occurred in the 9000 block of Alto Cedro Place. A male resident and his female companion arrived at the above-described location and parked their vehicle when they were confronted by approximately three, possibly four suspects. The suspects demanded money and ordered the victims into the residence. The male victim sustained minor injuries during the incident but the female victim was not injured. West Los Angeles patrol officers responded to the location and arrested one male adult and one female adult at the scene. The male suspect was combative and three officers received minor injuries taking him into custody.

A perimeter was established and a search was conducted for the outstanding suspect(s). The officers were assisted in the search by three LAPD K-9 search dogs, however, the outstanding suspect(s) were not located.

Approximately $75,000 worth of stolen property was recovered at the scene, however, additional stolen property remain missing.

The investigation will be conducted by West Los Angeles Detectives Fredrickson and Lagerman.
