Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify the person(s) responsible for the shooting death of a 19-year-old man.
On Friday, June 6, 2008, at around 9 p.m., Hollywood patrol officers responded to a shooting in the 5600 block of Fountain Avenue, where two victims were shot. Both victims had already been transported to a local hospital by their friends. Alexander Aldana, a 19 year-old male Hispanic was treated for his injuries, but later died. The second victim, a female Hispanic was in the line of fire and also shot. She was treated for her injuries, but no further information is being released at this time.
A preliminary investigation revealed that Aldana got into an argument with two male Hispanics while at a party. One of the suspects shot Aldana and then both suspects headed westbound on foot from the location.
