"Unidentified Female In Critical Condition After A Hit and Run Accident"
 
Los Angeles: On Tuesday, August 7, 2001, at 11:00 P.M., a hit and run traffic collision occurred at Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Gramercy Place in the Southwest Area of Los Angeles. The victim, an unidentified female Black pedestrian, was crossing Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard southbound when she was struck by two vehicles traveling eastbound. Both vehicles fled from the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital and is in critical condition.
One vehicle was described as a late model Dodge Stratus, light in color. The other is described as a late model Ford Explorer, black in color. Anybody with information on the vehicles involved in this collision or the identity of the victim is asked to call the South Traffic Division Watch Commander at 213-485-7336.
