Jones has been charged with 19 felony counts including attempted murder, rape, robbery, etc. and is being held without bail. Jones is currently on parole for first-degree burglary and was recently released from the state prison approximately ten months ago. Jones is also a known Los Angeles area gang member.
This arrest was made possible as the result of an anonymous tip that was called into the Sheriffs Department and forwarded to LAPD detectives.
