UPDATE: Suspect Wanted in Multiple Burger King Robberies; Arrested

Los Angeles:  The Los Angeles Police Department is asking the public’s help in locating a man wanted in a string of armed robberies across Los Angeles County.
Jaquis Maurice Dukes, 20, is suspected in robbing the same Burger King restaurant, 10 days apart.  The Burger King, at 304 West Century Boulevard, was robbed on September 12, and again on September 22.  Police arrested the driver of the getaway car for one of the robberies.
Detectives were able to identify Dukes as the armed suspect who entered the business both times.  They have since linked Dukes to as many as seven other Burger King robberies across Los Angeles County. 
UPDATE
On November 22, 2005, Detectives from Southeast Division received an anonymous tip that Dukes was seen in the area of 69th Street and Figueroa Street.  A two-day surveillance in the area resulted in arresting of Dukes as he exited an apartment complex without incident. 
He was booked for Robbery and is being held on a bail over six million dollars.
