Contributions to Clearances

In recognition of the work with external partners, we want to acknowledge our partnership with the Federal Bureau of Investigation Fugitive and the Unites States Marshal Apprehension Task Forces. These task forces work in conjunction with our Gang and Narcotics Division, to apprehend some of the most violent offenders responsible for these heinous murders. After hundreds of pre-planned operations, their collaborative work resulted in a total of 275 homicide suspect arrests during 2022, which greatly contributed to our homicide clearance rate and further allowed our homicide investigators to continue their focus on additional cases.
