Valley Bureau Homicide Detectives Seek Public’s Help in Finding the Person Responsible for Murder NR25185rc

North Hills: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Bureau Homicide detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to the arrest of the suspect(s) involved in the murder of a woman.

On September 15, 2025, at 11:24 p.m., Mission area patrol officers responded to a radio call of a, “Shots fired women down,” in the 9000 block of Orion Avenue, in North Hills. When the officers arrived, they found a female victim lying on the ground in the rear parking lot, suffering from a gunshot wound.

The Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

The victim is described as a female Hispanic, 25-35 years-old. Her name is being withheld, pending notification of next of kin.

There is no suspect information.

Detectives from Valley Bureau Homicide were notified and responded to the scene. Detectives canvassed the scene for witnesses and further evidence.
