An undercover officer will be crossing the intersections, at two of the most dangerous intersections in the Valley. Motorists who fail to yield for the pedestrians will be cited. Drivers operating their motor vehicles without possessing a valid driver’s license may be arrested and their vehicles impounded.
This enforcement activity is part of the Los Angeles Police Department’s effort in reducing pedestrian related traffic collisions. The last enforcement sting resulted in over 100 citations written for pedestrian crosswalk violations.
