Why:
The Sober Graduation program began in 1985. The community-based program targets teens that are in the last few months of their senior year in high school: during prom, graduation, and other end-of-the-year activities. It is designed to be as realistic as possible in educating students on the consequences of drinking and driving, and often includes the use of simulator vehicles, jail tours, mock trials, graphic accident photos, and stories from those who have lost loved ones to drunk drivers.

**On display at the news conference will be one of the wrecked vehicles used in the program to illustrate the destruction which can occur in a DUI-related collision.
