Victim Followed Home Then Robbed At Gunpoint

Los Angeles: On Thursday, February 26, 2004, at about 4:00 p.m., in the 14000 block of Germain Street in Mission Hills, a woman was followed home after conducting business at the Bank of America located at Sepulveda Boulevard and Devonshire Street. When she arrived home, a man, approximately 20-30 years of age, ran towards her and began yelling, "Give me your purse!"
The suspect and the woman struggled over the purse when the suspect pointed a semi-automatic handgun and demanded her purse. After she gave the suspect her purse, he shot her one time in her left arm.
The suspect was described as a male Black, brown hair, 5’ 11", and about 180 pounds. The suspect had a thin beard and wore a blue and white striped jogging suit. Additionally, the suspect had a distinctive birthmark on his upper right cheek.
