Victim Shot and Killed while Seated in His Vehicle

Los Angeles: On Friday, March 14, 2003, at approximately 9:20 a.m., the victim, Brandon Marquis Randle, a male Black, 25 years-old, was seated in his vehicle at the southwest corner of 65th Street and Figueroa Street, when unknown number of suspects approached him and shot him. Los Angeles City Fire Department Paramedics responded to the scene and transported the victim to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The shooting appears to be gang related, however, the suspect(s) and weapon are not in custody.
