Victim Shot to Death; Detectives Seek Leads

Los Angeles: Southeast Area Detectives are investigating a shooting incident that occurred in the area of 112th Street and Wilmington Avenue.
On Tuesday, May 13, 2003 at 10:44 p.m., the victim, an approximate 40 year-old male Black, was in the area when he was shot.
Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the victim dead. Detectives are awaiting identification of the victim by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office.
