Walmart supports Department’s Holiday Toy Drive to support West Valley area families NA09356ne

WHAT: Walmart will present a $5,000 donation to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) West Valley Division to assist local families in need this holiday season.

Zine John Mendez, Senior Manager, Public Affairs, Walmart LAPD Captain John Egan LAPD Captain Nick Zingo Families and children receiving toys WHY: Walmart and the Walmart Foundation are proud to support charitable causes that are important to customers and associates in their own neighborhoods. The LAPD West Valley Division will be distributing gifts from their recent toy drive to needy families in the San Fernando Valley. To assist in their efforts, Walmart, in partnership with Councilmember Zine, is donating $5,000 to their cause. Families will be coming by the station to pick up packages and there will be a check presentation.
