In direct response to the fears and misconceptions voiced by residents and stakeholders from the Southeast, Newton, 77th, Hollenbeck, and San Fernando Gardens areas during recent Community Safety Advisory Council (CSAC) meetings; the Community Safety Partnership Bureau along with the Communications Division, the Latin American Law Enforcement Association (LALEY), the Hispanic American Police Command Officers Association (HAPCOA), Councilmember Monica Rodriguez, Councilmember Kevin de Leon, and Expediente Rojo Project, are hosting a community webinar event on the 911 process for our Spanish speaking community. This webinar will be held in Spanish and will include presentations and discussions to help dispel the fears that affect our Spanish speaking community. Topics will include immigration status, anonymity, and common misperceptions of 911.

This event is open to all community members to attend; however, there will not be an English translation provided. An English webinar will be held on June 30th.
