Wilshire Burglar Caught on Camera NR15111lp

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles
Police Department’s Wilshire Area detectives are asking for the
public’s assistance in identifying the suspect responsible for a
burglary. The suspect was later caught on surveillance video when
pawning the victim’s property.

On Sunday, February 21, 2015, a suspect broke into a residence
located in the 1300 block of Tremaine Avenue. The suspect took the
victim’s property including jewelry and a laptop computer. On
Tuesday, February 23, 2015, the victim got a ping from her laptop
computer at a local pawn shop. The victim immediately phoned the
police who responded to the pawn shop. By the time the officers
arrived to the store, the suspect had left the location, however,
detectives were able to obtain surveillance video from inside the
pawn shop.

The suspect is described as a male Black, between 18 – 23-years-old
with black hair. He stands between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 11
inches tall and has a thin build. On the surveillance footage, he
was seen wearing a grey shirt, glasses and carrying a black back
pack.
