Canoga Park: Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Operations Valley Bureau Homicide are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to the identification and arrest of the suspect involved in a fatal traffic collision that killed a 35-year-old female Hispanic resident of Canoga Park.
On March 3, 2018, around 10:45 p.m., Los Angeles Police Department Topanga Area patrol officers received a radio call of a “Female with Critical Injuries” at a local hospital. Upon arrival, they were informed the victim was suffering from blunt force trauma consistent with being struck by a vehicle. The victim was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
Operation Valley Bureau Homicide Detectives were notified and responded to the scene in the alley of 7300 Milwood Avenue. Based on their investigation, detectives found out, around 10:00 p.m., the victim may have been arguing with an unknown male and was then struck by an unknown vehicle that did not stop.
Detectives are attempting to determine if this was an accidental or intentional act.
