Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department’s South Traffic Division is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect responsible for colliding with another vehicle and fleeing the scene.
On July 05, 2025, around 9:15 p.m., the suspect was traveling southbound Figueroa Street, driving in a Porsche Panamera, and collided with the victim’s vehicle traveling eastbound 91st Street. The suspect failed to stop and render aid after the collision. The driver abandoned her vehicle at scene and fled on foot in an unknown direction.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to the collision scene and pronounced the victim, 25-year-old Emerson Noel Escobar Gonzalez, deceased at scene.
The suspect is described as a female Black possibly in her 30’s. The Porsche was towed as evidence.
South Traffic Detectives are urging anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward with any information regarding this fatal hit-and-run.
Motorists are reminded that if they become involved in a collision, they should pull over and stop as soon as it is safe to do so, notify emergency services, and remain at the scene to identify themselves.
On April 15, 2015, the City Council amended the Los Angeles Administrative Code and created a Hit-and-Run Reward Program Trust Fund. A reward of up to $25,000 is available to community members that provide information leading to the offender’s identification, apprehension, and conviction or resolution through a civil compromise.
