Woman Seriously Injured by Hit-and-Run Driver NR11385rf

Los Angeles:  Los Angeles Police Department Central Traffic Division (CTD) detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify and locate a driver who seriously injured a pedestrian in a crosswalk.

Last month on Wednesday, July 20, 64-year-old Myoung Ja Kim was hit in a crosswalk by someone driving a dark-gray or gold, two-door Infiniti sedan.  She was walking west in a crosswalk on Santa Monica Boulevard at Vermont Avenue at about 4 a.m. when the incident occurred.  After striking her, the driver failed to stop and identify himself/herself and render aid as required by law.

Kim was transported to a local hospital where she was treated for severe head trauma, a fractured spine and a fractured knee.
