Woman Struck While in Roadway by Hit and Run Driver NR121155wr

Los Angeles:  LAPD  West Traffic Division Detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing information regarding a hit and run traffic collision that occurred early Sunday morning on La Cienega Boulevard north of Cadillac Avenue in Los Angeles injuring a woman.  

On April 1, 2012, at around 8:45 p.m., a vehicle travelling northbound on La Cienega Boulevard collided with a 30-year-old female who was in the roadway.

The driver drove away without rendering or requesting aid and leaving his identifying information for the injured woman, as required by law.  

The pedestrian was transported by Los Angeles City Fire Department personnel to a local hospital where she was treated and is expected to recover from her injuries.

No witnesses have been located at this time. The vehicle is described as light in color.
