Wrapped In A Blanket; Woman’s Body Found Dead

Los Angeles: Foothill Homicide Detectives are investigating the death of a 56 year-old female Hispanic.
On Sunday, March 9, 2003, at approximately 12:00 a.m., Foothill Area patrol officers responded to a "Possible Homicide Investigation" radio call in the 9700 block of Sharp Avenue. Upon arrival, the officers discovered the victim lying in the dirt area adjacent to the road, wrapped in a blanket.
The motive is unknown at this time. The identity of the victim will not be revealed until after her relatives have been notified.
