WHY:
On December 9, 2022, around 10 a.m., a nine-month pregnant woman was walking her two French Bull Dogs in the 4100 block of Kraft Avenue in Studio City, when she was approached by an armed male suspect. The suspect pointed a pistol at the victim and took both French Bulldogs. The suspect fled the area with the dogs in a gray SUV. The dogs were later recovered and returned to the victim.

The suspect in the crime was identified as a resident of Las Vegas. He was arrested on January 26, 2023.

The commanding officer and assigned investigators of North Hollywood will announce details of the arrest, and the identity of the charged individual. They will also discuss crime prevention strategies against dognapping.
